Position Overview

We are seeking a Baling Machine Operator to support the operation of machinery that compresses and binds textile and paper products into compact bales for resale.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

COMPENSATION: $16.37 – $17.18 per hour.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds. The role involves frequent unloading of the baler, walking, bending, and standing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Feed materials into the compression chamber.
  • Utilize baler controls to compress materials effectively.
  • Open the compression chamber to extract bales.
  • Secure tie bands around bales and fasten them appropriately.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials from transport vehicles as necessary.
  • May perform material handling tasks, relocating items from trucks and staging areas within the facility.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Forklift certification is advantageous, though not required.
