Job Overview

Position Summary: The Extrusion Blow Molding Machine Technician is tasked with ensuring the effective, safe, and profitable operation of extrusion blow molding machinery and its auxiliary systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate assigned extrusion blow molding machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently.
  • Conduct daily autonomous maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of 5S practices in the production area and for the machinery.
  • Comply with all safety protocols related to machine operations and adhere to OSHA standards.
  • Collaborate with the extrusion blow molding manager and other team members to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain established production and quality benchmarks consistently.
  • Engage in daily planning and coordination activities as required.
  • Report any performance or quality concerns regarding machinery and products promptly.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to employee conduct and responsibilities.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in machine operation is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in extrusion blow molding is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret general machine operation instructions.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in solving practical problems and adapting to various operational variables.
  • Capable of interpreting diverse instructions presented in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule formats.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.

Shifts available: 6 P.M. - 6 A.M. MON-WED, EVERY OTHER THURS or 6 A.M.- 6 P.M. MON-WED, EVERY OTHER THURS.

Night Shift Differential: $2.00.

Work hours: 40+ hours per week.
