Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, providing recommendations for corrective actions and consulting with staff or vendors as needed.
- Install, configure, upgrade, or replace microcomputer hardware and software for users, ensuring optimal system performance.
- Evaluate and recommend adjustments to applications to meet user requirements, providing expert advice on hardware and software purchases.
- Develop and deliver training sessions on software, hardware, network, or other computer-related topics, enhancing user knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan, prepare, and conduct seminars, workshops, and other educational events.
- Associate's degree in computer science, business systems, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent technical training in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in computer support operations, or an applicable combination of experience and/or education.
- Preferred qualifications include audio-visual and video editing experience, customer service experience in an IT field, experience working in higher education, and a strong understanding of computer systems and software.
