Job Summary:

The Fiscal Support Specialist is a key role in the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville's financial operations. This position is responsible for verifying and processing monthly invoices for various vendors, maintaining records in Excel, and responding to inquiries from vendors, customers, and accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and process monthly invoices for vendors
  • Maintain records in Excel
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and accounts payable
  • Charge out invoices into FAMA's Work order software

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least four years of bookkeeping, basic accounting, billing, or related experience
  • Knowledge of database accounting and management principles
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of computers and software application programs
  • Knowledge of customer service techniques
