Key Responsibilities
  • Member Engagement: Provide outstanding service to our members, adhering to the service standards set by Teachers Credit Union.
  • Service Functions: Execute a wide range of member service tasks accurately and promptly, including cash handling, processing transactions, maintaining accounts, and supporting our Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs).
  • Confidentiality: Uphold a high level of confidentiality regarding member account details.
  • Sales Goals: Achieve or surpass sales and referral targets by actively listening to member needs and promoting suitable products.
  • Outbound Initiatives: Participate in outreach efforts by managing prospect lists and following up with members.
  • Additional Duties: Take on extra retail responsibilities such as drawer audits and vault management as needed.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all relevant policies regarding cash handling and transaction approvals.
  • Problem Solving: Address member inquiries and issues through effective research and follow-up.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to foster growth and success within the credit union.

  • Sales Techniques: Implement needs-based selling strategies and relationship-building techniques.
  • Decision-Making: Make informed daily decisions within established guidelines to maintain a positive credit union image.
  • Policy Adherence: Understand and apply all relevant credit union policies, particularly those related to security and compliance.
  • Performance Goals: Meet agreed-upon performance metrics in collaboration with your supervisor.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Six months of experience in retail sales or cash handling within a financial institution.
