Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategically plan and manage client-facing automation solutions, overseeing all facets of product deployment in a multifaceted environment.
  • Engage in scoping visits to client locations.
  • Define project parameters and gather requirements in collaboration with the customer.
  • Develop and monitor project plans, ensuring adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
  • Facilitate consistent communication of project status to teams and senior leadership.
  • Track essential metrics for the project and identify lessons learned for future initiatives.
  • Cultivate a culture centered on transparency, swift decision-making, and cohesive partnerships among teams and stakeholders.
  • Address issues, risks, and challenges that arise during the deployment processes.
  • Focus on continuous improvement of new standards, processes, and procedures that enhance collaboration and communication across teams.
  • Identify execution gaps and assist in developing internal processes that improve overall project flow.
  • Mentor and train new team members on daily project management tasks and best practices.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Qualifications:
  • Over 7 years of project management experience with the ability to excel in complex, customer-facing roles to deploy technical products and solutions.
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience in automated material handling within distribution centers and/or the automotive industry is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Project management certification is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate dynamic meetings and coordinate among high-energy participants to achieve productive outcomes.
  • Proven capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a readiness to adapt to change and make decisions amid varying levels of uncertainty.
  • Experience utilizing metrics and data analysis to drive beneficial process enhancements.
  • Exceptional cross-functional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with hardware engineering is strongly preferred.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Six Sigma certification is a plus.
