Contract Robot Programmer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Robot Programmer to join our team at Talos Automation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for programming and managing robots, particularly Fanuc models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and manage robots, including Fanuc models, to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Handle robotic processing tasks, such as operating dispense applicators, sealers, urethane, and paint systems.
  • Conduct robotic simulations using RoboGuide (Fanuc), RobotStudio (ABB), and SimPro (Kuka) to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Perform light machine builds, including the development of end effectors, to meet customer requirements.
  • Design and troubleshoot hardware and software, interpreting electrical schematics to identify and resolve issues.
  • Review and validate mechanical designs and End-of-Arm Tools (EOAT) related to robots to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
  • Follow project-specific instructions from the Project Manager to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  • Provide field service and support as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Write detailed operation manuals for projects to facilitate easy understanding and use.
  • Deliver training sessions at customer facilities when required to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Adhere to the Customer Quality Management System standards to ensure high-quality products and services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in automation or a related field, or equivalent education.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time to meet customer needs.
