A Day in the Life
As a Field Technician with Montrose, you will have the opportunity to work outdoors and collect data while spending most of your time in a hardhat rather than in a cubicle. You will be responsible for a full range of duties including project preparation, deployment, testing, and record-keeping.
Responsibilities
- Prepare project materials and equipment for deployment
- Conduct field tests and collect data
- Record and report test results
- Practice safety methods and procedures
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- No experience necessary
- Transferable experience in laborer, construction, industrial maintenance, mechanical, laboratory, environmental, field science, etc.
- Ability to work in outdoor industrial settings, including climbing to and working on elevated platforms
- Must be able to exert moderate physical effort, including lifting heavy materials up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain a DOT medical certification and OSHA Respiratory Protection Medical Evaluation
