Job Summary

We're looking for a seasoned commercial professional to manage our existing accounts in the Northeast and drive additional business development. As a Senior Commercial Manager, you'll be responsible for day-to-day and strategic management of key utility customer accounts, advising utility staff on DER market approach, and contributing to Piclo as a thought leader in the US energy and DER sphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client satisfaction and retention: Manage key account relationships, ensure client satisfaction, and work with the product team to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Market participation and liquidity: Collaborate with the Senior DER Manager and marketing team to build DER market participation and liquidity through professional networking and targeted engagement activities.
  • Business development and thought leadership: Work with the Senior Market Development Manager to catapult Piclo as a thought leader in grid modernization and DERs, and engage in business development activities across the Northeast US to attract new clients.
About You

We're looking for a motivated and organized individual with a strong background in customer-facing roles, preferably in the utility, DER, renewable project development, and/or energy markets sector. You should have excellent communication skills, experience developing concise presentations and campaigns, and a demonstrated ability to work self-sufficiently, flexibly, and resourcefully.
