Our IT department is looking for an IT Specialist to collaborate with a skilled team to design and develop a comprehensive finance application ecosystem as part of a larger ERP initiative. In this capacity, you will partner with IT and business professionals to assess our existing finance application framework, create a revitalized application architecture, and implement the newly crafted solution. This position requires proactive collaboration with internal stakeholders and IT colleagues to devise solutions that enable PolyOne to meet its growth objectives, enhance our workplace culture, and fulfill our sustainability commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a diverse project team to implement S/4 HANA, the latest iteration of SAP, which will replace several SAP ECC platforms.

• Analyze current business processes, system practices, and IT designs, proposing improved solutions.

• Assist in identifying business requirements, encouraging business partners to articulate essential needs for both current and future states, and translating those requirements into functional and system specifications.

• Work closely with business partners and consultants to ensure alignment of S/4 landscape and related applications with key project initiatives.

• Partner with business associates to identify test cases, execute related scripts, document outcomes, and collaborate across teams to redesign processes as necessary.

• Act as a technical lead for specific components of the S/4 implementation, managing subprojects of varying size and complexity.

• Support all phases of the S/4 implementation, including Design, Build, Testing, Training, and Deployment.

  • Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is required.
  • 5+ years of experience as an SAP FICO analyst is required.
  • Extensive experience and proven expertise with SAP Profitability Analytics (COPA), including Product Costing, Profit Center Accounting, and related Master Data elements is required.
  • Technical knowledge of FI modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets is required.
Preferred Skills

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across IT functions and with global business partners are essential.

• Experience in a global manufacturing environment with cross-border transactions and multiple legal entities is required.

• Experience with a global S/4 implementation involving multiple business units and legal entities is preferred.
  • Experience integrating S/4 with third-party applications such as Concur, Coupa, and OneSource is preferred.
Environmental, Health, Safety, & Security (EHS&S) Responsibilities

• PolyOne integrates EHS&S into all facets of our operations. Each position is responsible for adhering to all applicable EHS&S requirements. Additionally, employees and management must report all EHS&S incidents immediately to prioritize EHS&S within the organization.
