We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Time Overnight Head Baker to join our team at Doughnut Vault.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading our pastry production team, ensuring the highest quality of products, and maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the pastry production team to achieve high-quality products and meet production targets.
- Develop and implement effective COGS management strategies to positively impact the restaurant's financial health.
- Collaborate with the Events, Marketing, and Branding teams to promote the overall financial health of the restaurant.
- Uphold defined standards for food quality and hold vendors accountable for all product received.
- Complete general administrative tasks, including opening and closing duties, maintaining restaurant facilities, and keeping the Recipe Index up to date.
- Coordinate all training for front-of-house staff and foster professional development for employees and leadership.
- Provide consistent coaching and support for all hourly employees and possess the ability to fill into any BOH hourly position.
- Minimum of 3 years working in pastry or doughnut production.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Chef or other kitchen leadership position.
- In-depth COGS management experience and strong financial understanding.
- Ability to identify problems and be solution-oriented regarding culinary and general restaurant operations.
- Must have open availability, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
