Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Personnel to join our team at The Weitz Company / Contrack Watts, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement safety training programs to educate employees on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement safety plans and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on safety-related matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as safety management or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
