Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Construction Superintendent to oversee our construction projects. This role involves managing project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution. Experience with a General Contractor or Construction Management firm is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of construction projects from inception to completion
  • Coordinate activities of subcontractors, suppliers, labor, and materials on-site
  • Ensure safety protocols are adhered to throughout the construction process
  • Review and verify time and material usage
  • Prepare and assess checklists to confirm subcontractor readiness for mobilization
  • Allocate necessary resources for assigned projects
  • Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors
  • Engage with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, and clients
  • Negotiate with contractors to secure fair pricing
  • Uphold high standards of workmanship in line with project specifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction science, or a related field
  • OSHA 10/30 Certification and experience in building maintenance or carpentry
  • CPR/AD Certification is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Prior experience in commercial construction and supervisory roles
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent
  • Background in construction management or related areas
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Timberline, Blue Beam, or Microsoft Project
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong negotiation abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on deadlines
