Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and run small to moderate scale projects with some complexity
  • Assume primary responsibility for the daily activities of the architectural project team, progress of the work, and technical quality of the Construction Documents
  • Prepare and negotiate client and consultant proposals, fees, schedules, and contracts
  • Supervise the assigned project team and assign their work tasks to meet the project schedule
  • Be the primary coordinator of communication with the client, ensuring timely resolution of client concerns
  • Establish the factual parameters of the design work, identify building systems options, and assist in the presentation of design documents
  • Accurately produce schematic design, design development, and construction documents
  • Proficient at architectural graphic standards and construction drawing set organization and development
  • Assist the Project Manager in adhering to the project schedule and budget
  • Initiate and orchestrate the work of the entire project team and facilitate the timely exchange of information between all project team members
  • Perform all in-house construction administration duties, respond to RFI's, review and approve shop drawings, issue bulletins, etc.

About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Architect who is proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams. You should have a Bachelor's degree in architecture or architectural engineering, and be registered as an Architect in either the State of Michigan and/or Florida. You should also have experience in construction documents, project management, and team leadership.
