Warehouse Operations Coordinator

Cimsa Americas Cement Man & Sales Corp.; is a subsidiary of Cimsa Cement San. Tic. A.S., a leading global white cement supplier. The Warehouse / Production Planner role is based at our Cimsa Americas Cement Manufacturing & Sales Corp. located in Houston, TX and reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly productions using SAP system in a timely manner.
  • Participate in budget preparation by utilizing data.
  • Create purchasing orders by using SAP system, receiving orders in the field and completing SAP processes, warehouse management for consumables and spare parts.
  • Coordinate daily operations in quality laboratory with laboratory specialist and report to operation management.
  • Work with laboratory specialist to fulfill quality tasks and analysis.
  • Follow environmental procedures and regulations of the cement production facility.
  • Complete tasks and daily-weekly-monthly-quarterly inspections of TCEQ Air Permit and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).
  • Plan and communicate weekly loading schedule with production and sales teams.
  • Establish and maintain maximum and minimum consumables inventory levels.
  • Cover off-shift calls as needed. Attend work regularly and reliably.
  • Promote and maintain an environmentally compliant and safety-oriented plant in accordance with all OSHA and company standards.
  • Ensure application of plant's rules of conduct and health & safety protocols during operation and quality procedures to minimize injuries and lost time incidents.
  • Participate in weekly safety meetings and provide feedback on unsafe working conditions or signs of equipment breakdowns.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma.
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline is an advantage.
  • Excellent multitasking skills within their workspace as well as computer software programs.
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint knowledge and usage at high level.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Strong aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a cement manufacturing environment that may be hot, cold, wet, dusty, and physically demanding.
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and applicable safety precautions of the assigned work.
  • Positive attitude, collaborative worker, team player.
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of being around moving equipment and machinery.
  • Must have regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Must be okay with heights and working in confined space.
  • Role operates in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions.
