Job Summary: As an Adjunct Professor of Workforce Development, you will be responsible for teaching courses in our Workforce Development and Career Readiness Program. You will work closely with our HRD/CS Director or Coordinator to ensure that our students receive the best possible education and preparation for the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses in our Workforce Development and Career Readiness Program, as assigned.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and grades.
  • Participate in curriculum development and monitoring to ensure that our programs remain relevant and effective.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods.

Requirements:

  • An Associate's degree and/or commensurate teaching experience with youth and adult learners.
  • Experience in the area of employability skills or employment readiness is a plus.
  • Able to work with diverse populations and maintain a commitment to the mission and philosophy of the North Carolina Community College System.
