Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.

Key Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of POC accounting and project management requirements, including accurate financial tracking, risk assessment, and currency management.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiations, including handling customer change orders and vendor agreements.
  • Experience in Financial Planning and Controlling is essential.
  • Familiarity with SAP and accounting principles in accordance with financial reporting guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects.
  • Strong skills in reading and interpreting contracts.
  • Proactive personality with a focus on driving positive changes.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a knack for identifying opportunities to enhance margins through change orders and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and compliant financial records for projects in line with company policies and financial reporting guidelines.
  • Prepare detailed forecasts of Profit & Loss and Free Cash Flow on a monthly and yearly basis, analyzing assumptions to explain variances and guiding the project team towards achieving forecast objectives.
  • Act as a trusted partner to the Project Team by collaborating, leading, and educating team members on financial and compliance matters.
  • Assist the Project Manager in identifying, reporting, and mitigating non-conformance costs, and implement lessons learned into the project and organization.
  • Lead the identification and reporting of risks and opportunities for the project, managing contracts and claims while ensuring compliance with commercial guidelines.
  • Facilitate effective communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders, including management teams, HR, Quality Management, and suppliers.
  • Engage in change order negotiations with customers, leading from a commercial perspective to ensure favorable pricing and proposals.
