Position: Financial Project Analyst

Contract Duration: 11 Months

Location: Remote

Role Overview:

The Financial Project Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial documentation related to project activities. Key responsibilities include:


• Maintaining precise and organized financial records in compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards.


• Developing reliable forecasts for Profit & Loss and Free Cash Flow on both an annual and monthly basis, while analyzing underlying assumptions to address discrepancies and guide the project team towards achieving financial targets.


• Acting as a key collaborator and resource for the Project Team, providing insights and guidance on financial and compliance matters.


• Assisting the Project Manager in identifying and managing costs associated with non-compliance, while facilitating the integration of lessons learned into project practices.


• Leading the identification and reporting of risks and opportunities within the project, ensuring adherence to compliance guidelines related to contracts and claims.


• Ensuring effective communication with all pertinent internal and external stakeholders, including management teams, HR, and suppliers, while supporting procurement negotiations.


• Engaging actively in negotiations regarding change orders with clients, focusing on commercial aspects to ensure favorable pricing and proposals.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.

Skills and Experience:


• Strong understanding of accounting principles in line with regulatory frameworks.


• Proven experience in financial planning and control.


• Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively.


• Proficient in interpreting contracts.


• Familiarity with SAP software.


• Comprehensive knowledge of project accounting and control requirements, including accurate financial tracking and risk management.


• Experience in negotiating contracts, including customer change orders and vendor agreements.


• A proactive approach with a focus on driving positive change and identifying opportunities for margin improvement through continuous enhancement initiatives.
