Position Overview:

The Project Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity of projects within the organization. This position requires a strong foundation in accounting principles and project management, enabling the analyst to maintain accurate financial records and support project teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain precise and compliant financial documentation for projects, adhering to organizational policies and regulatory standards.
  • Generate reliable forecasts for Profit & Loss and Free Cash Flow on a monthly and annual basis, analyzing assumptions to clarify variances and drive project teams towards achieving financial targets.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to project teams, facilitating collaboration and educating team members on financial and compliance matters.
  • Assist the Project Manager in identifying and mitigating non-conformance costs, integrating lessons learned into project execution and broader organizational practices.
  • Lead the identification and reporting of risks and opportunities, managing contracts and claims while ensuring adherence to commercial guidelines.
  • Foster effective communication with all relevant stakeholders, including management teams, HR, quality assurance, and external partners, while supporting procurement negotiations.
  • Engage actively in negotiations with clients regarding change orders, ensuring that pricing strategies are advantageous for all parties involved.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A solid understanding of project accounting and financial planning is essential, along with experience in contract negotiations and SAP software.
