We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Provider to join our team at Cayuga Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with physicians to provide high-quality patient care and support the delivery of exceptional medical services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians to diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions
- Order and interpret laboratory and radiology tests to inform patient care decisions
- Prescribe medication and provide education to patients and families
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans in a clear and concise manner
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices
- Current NYS license and board certification
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
- Current BLS Certification
This role requires a high level of independence, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to lift 40 pounds and spend approximately 80% of their time standing.
