Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Stats Access, Inc. is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Ithaca, New York.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform imaging procedures, including the administration of radioisotopes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine and be able to maintain and calibrate radioisotope and laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Competently perform imaging procedures, including the administration of radioisotopes.
  • Maintain and calibrate radioisotope and laboratory equipment.
  • Provide compassionate patient care, comfort, and safety while ensuring patient confidentiality.
  • Assume other appropriate responsibilities as needed.
  • Follow all state regulations and perform and maintain department QA procedures and documentation.
  • Assist with training and educating new staff members and students as appropriate.
  • Maintain all credentials and CE credits essential to the position.
Requirements
  • NMTCB or ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine.
  • NYS Dept of Health License.
  • NMTCB; plus CT certification or ARRT; NM plus CT or DX certification.
  • Education: Associates degree in Nuclear Medicine or graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine certificate program.
  • Experience: Experience a plus, but new grads welcome.
  • Licensure: NYS NM, DX or CT.
