Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Teller to join our team at NAFT Federal Credit Union. As a Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing financial transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and inquiries.
  • Adhere to credit union banking policies and procedures.
  • Provide high-quality customer service and inform customers about available banking services and products.
  • Accommodate customer requests for print-outs, photocopies, stop payments, telephone transfers, direct deposit, check orders, and temporary checks.
  • Balance daily transactions and count, sort, and prepare coins for pickup.
  • Refers prospective investment customers to member services and cross-sells products and services as appropriate.
  • May be responsible for opening or closing the branch.
Requirements
  • High school degree or GED and previous experience in cash handling or customer service preferred.
  • Two years of previous cash handling and customer service experience in the banking industry is preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and consumers.
  • Must be responsible, reliable, dependable in their work and attendance, and willing to function on their own as well as a team member.
  • Must be able to travel to branch offices and attend outside functions.
  • Must be bondable and have a valid driver's license and liability insurance.

The Teller will work in a fast-paced banking environment, interacting with customers and colleagues on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment, multitask, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
