Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement program philosophy, objectives, and curriculum to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate and oversee LPN clinical experience and onsite training to provide students with hands-on experience and exposure to real-world scenarios.
  • Evaluate curriculum and student progress regularly to ensure academic excellence and student success.
  • Ensure program compliance with regulatory standards and industry requirements.
  • Recruit, recommend, and evaluate faculty to ensure a high-quality learning environment.
  • Represent the program at professional meetings and public functions to promote the college and its programs.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed to support the college's mission and goals.
Requirements
  • Current, valid license as a Registered Nurse in Louisiana.
  • Minimum of four years experience in medical-surgical nursing or nursing education.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of six months full-time nursing practice in the three years before appointment.
  • Pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
