Job Summary:

The Program Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a research project at Pennington Biomedical Research Center, a leading institution in the field of health and wellness. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of researchers and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure the project's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate research projects, including developing project plans, setting deadlines, and tracking progress.
  • Lead and motivate a team of researchers, providing guidance and support to ensure project goals are met.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including researchers, administrators, and external partners.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring financial accountability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, public health, or a scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, research coordination, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience working in a research institution or academic setting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and institutional policies.
