Job Summary

As a key member of the Revenue Cycle Integrity department at Lexington Medical Center, this Education Coordinator-Bus Svcs will play a vital role in developing, designing, and implementing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of BSA employees. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between users and the Revenue Cycle Integrity department, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate BSA employees on revenue cycle processes, compliance, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with area supervisors to create competency testing standards and measure employee performance.
  • Design and implement daily audits to monitor education status and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in revenue cycle management and compliance.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in hospital revenue cycle, with a strong understanding of compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new software applications quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and quality.
