Clinical Nutrition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at CHI St. Joseph Health. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a critical role in assessing the nutritional status of our patients and developing personalized nutrition plans to improve their health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Nutrition Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough nutrition assessments using recognized assessment tools and develop individualized nutrition plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Patient Education and Counseling: Provide patients and their families with education and counseling on healthy eating habits, nutrition planning, and disease management.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize nutrition care services.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Registration: Valid registration as a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Licensure: Dietitian State license in the following states: Kentucky, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Tennessee, Ohio, Kansas, Georgia, Iowa, and Utah.
