We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Tech I to join our team at NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of anesthesia equipment and supplies in our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stock and maintain anesthesia supplies and equipment in ORs
  • Calibrate and troubleshoot anesthesia machines, including quality control and quality assurance analysis
  • Set up and operate various anesthesia-related equipment, including syringe pumps, capnographs, and TEEs
  • Assist with codes and respond to emergencies within the scope of your responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of anesthesia equipment and supplies
  • Ensure the sterility and cleanliness of all machines and equipment
  • Assist with trouble-shooting technical problems and make minor repairs and adjustments to equipment
  • Supply and dispose of anesthesia-related materials and equipment
  • Monitor and maintain medical pipeline systems, including N2O, O2, and Medical Air
Requirements:
  • High School Education Required
  • One year of work experience in a perioperative area or related field and/or familiarity with OR drug and equipment terminology
  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Basic computer skills
  • Effective communication skills
