Key Responsibilities:- Stock and maintain anesthesia supplies and equipment in ORs
- Calibrate and troubleshoot anesthesia machines, including quality control and quality assurance analysis
- Set up and operate various anesthesia-related equipment, including syringe pumps, capnographs, and TEEs
- Assist with codes and respond to emergencies within the scope of your responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of anesthesia equipment and supplies
- Ensure the sterility and cleanliness of all machines and equipment
- Assist with trouble-shooting technical problems and make minor repairs and adjustments to equipment
- Supply and dispose of anesthesia-related materials and equipment
- Monitor and maintain medical pipeline systems, including N2O, O2, and Medical Air
- High School Education Required
- One year of work experience in a perioperative area or related field and/or familiarity with OR drug and equipment terminology
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer skills
- Effective communication skills
