Job Title: Loan Syndication Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Syndication Officer to join our team at GPAC. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, enhancing business productivity, and reducing single counterparty risk exposures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute calling strategies to identify new business opportunities
  • Work with team members to develop marketing materials and optimize processes
  • Perform due diligence on potential counterparties and coordinate due diligence by potential counterparties
  • Monitor processes throughout the transaction cycle and help to optimize processes
  • Manage and report on risks, ensuring strict adherence to internal control policies and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain detailed CRM records and facilitate individual loan sale transactions
  • Research and answer client questions, providing excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of loan syndication experience
  • Existing relationships with potential clients in the banking and financial industry
  • Knowledge of best practices, loan structures, legal agreements, LSTA market standards, and general accounting rules
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to create and maintain good relationships with clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-oriented approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
