We are seeking a skilled Finance Clerk to support our financial operations at Charger Water Treatment Products. The Finance Clerk is a crucial member of the accounting team, responsible for ensuring accurate financial records and facilitating smooth financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute daily accounting functions, including recording transactions and reconciling accounts payable and receivable.
- Manage customer payments and ensure precise documentation of all financial activities.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to address any billing or payment discrepancies.
- Conduct daily reconciliations of branch Accounts Receivable entries.
- Track outstanding invoices and proactively follow up with clients for timely payments.
- Establish new customer accounts and terms in the financial system.
- Review billing activities for accuracy and promptness.
- Perform regular reconciliations of customer accounts to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide backup support for the Credit & Collection Manager.
- Maintain organized documentation and filing systems for all financial records.
About Charger Water Treatment Products: We are a prominent player in the water treatment sector, specializing in the design and manufacture of water treatment solutions such as filters, softeners, and iron breakers. Our commitment to quality products and exceptional customer service sets us apart in the industry.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with Epicor Solar is advantageous.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- This position requires on-site presence.
