Fund Accounting Supervisor, Private Equity

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Accounting Supervisor to join our Private Equity team at SEI Investments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administration servicing for our clients' assigned hedge and private equity funds.
Key Responsibilities- Act as an intermediary between the funds and their investment managers, serving as the official record keeper for the funds.
- Train and supervise the accounting analysts on the team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Perform timely reconciliations regarding Net Asset Values and provide accounting reports, communicating transactions associated with the fund(s) to internal and external clients.
- Coordinate and support various year-end audit engagements in accordance with GAAP accounting standards, ensuring clients are in compliance with government laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in fund accounting, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve this goal.
- Collaborate with the manager to conduct performance appraisals, monthly one-on-ones with the team analysts, and provide career pathing and training.
- BA/BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience in the fund services industry, with alternatives experience preferred.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to clients.
SEI Investments offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $112,000 per year, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, life and disability insurance, 401(k) match, education assistance, and paid time off.
