As an essential contributor to the design and support of nuclear propulsion systems for U.S. Navy vessels, you will play a significant role in crafting the most advanced, safe, and dependable reactor plants globally.
The ideal candidate will engage in the design, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of critical instrumentation, control, and electrical systems for the Navy's NIMITZ-class aircraft carriers. These systems are vital for reactor protection and control safety functions, demanding the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Computer, or a related Engineering field
- Experience with microprocessor-based systems, control mechanisms, or power electronics
- Proven leadership capabilities
- Expertise in digital instrumentation and control systems
- Understanding of electrical power and distribution networks
- Prior experience in naval or commercial nuclear plant operations or design
- Familiarity with NIMITZ-Class or FORD-Class plant operations
- Background in project management
