Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced electrical engineer to join our team developing precision mechatronic examination systems for inspecting irradiated fuel from the fleet and the Advanced Test Reactor. As an Electrical Engineer in the Examination Design Projects subdivision, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of fully engineered equipment and systems, from requirements development and concept design through hardware delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Research and development of novel technologies
- Proof of principle testing
- Design of and integration with motion control system elements
- Testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 6 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 4 years of relevant experience
- Currently or previously Shift Supervisor Part I qualified
- EDO qualified and 2 years EOOW qualified in the Nuclear Operations Program
- Proficient oral and written communication
- Creativity in problem-solving
- Experience with instrumentation and controls, PLC systems, and computer programming

Our pay range is $92,900.00 - $145,200.00 annually, based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
