Job Summary

The State of California is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Director to lead the EDDNext Project in the Transformation Office. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the project efforts to ensure the successful implementation of the EDDNext system.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business strategies to meet the needs of the Unemployment Insurance, State Disability Insurance, and Tax programs
  • Work collaboratively with the Project Director and Project Technical Director to oversee the development and execution of the project
  • Ensure the ongoing success of the EDDNext system once operational
  • Develop and recommend new policy and policy changes related to the use of information for benefit and tax programs


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in program development and management, with experience in leading large-scale projects. You should also have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
