Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Director to join our team at ESR Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of facilities maintenance, including mechanical trades, grounds, and environmental services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage facilities maintenance operations, including preventative and corrective maintenance, energy management, and grounds and landscaping.
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and supervision of staff, professionals, and management.
  • Manage a safe and efficient working environment, essential to the performance of the business.
  • Develop and implement short- and long-range planning, construction and renovation projects, and budget reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a university or campus setting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, safety systems, architectural, landscape, and energy management.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a focus on staff development and team building.
  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen, with a strong P&L understanding.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) certification.
  • Experience with contract management and customer service.
