Position Overview

As a Software Implementation Lead, you will oversee the successful deployment of HealthStream's innovative software solutions. Your role will involve assessing current and future business requirements to craft project timelines and implementation strategies that not only meet but exceed client expectations. You will be accountable for resolving any project-related challenges that arise during the implementation process. Additionally, you will maintain comprehensive project documentation for key stakeholders, Implementation Specialists, project team members, and client resources, including meeting notes, project timelines, status reports, and acceptance documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Creating detailed implementation project plans and defining the scope of work tailored to each project.
  • Managing multiple software implementation projects simultaneously, ensuring a seamless transition for various clients. You will review commitments for technical services, training, and project management to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Understanding and identifying software functionalities that align with client business goals.
  • Coordinating all technical services, including data migration and installation, between clients and HealthStream.
  • Evaluating hardware recommendations and overseeing the software installation process.
  • Proactively addressing any delays or additional resource needs that may arise during the project.
  • Planning and executing effective training programs for clients.
  • Developing and maintaining implementation documentation while communicating project status and concerns to management, key stakeholders, project sponsors, and team members.
  • Performing related duties as necessary to support client service objectives.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • PMP certification is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in leading software implementation projects, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including MS Project, Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with web conferencing tools.
