Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at eSimplicity. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for performing data analysis, modeling, and research to understand and interpret data predictions, relationships, and trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to perform data analysis, modeling, and research
  • Work with end users to educate them in SQL, Python, and/or R, preferably with Apache Spark
  • Create queries, reports, and technical presentations
  • Identify patterns in data in complex data sets
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AI/ML technology trends, developments, and best practices
  • Ensure successful completion of work and timeliness of deliverables
  • Provide status updates to senior members of the team and work with management to identify and prioritize business needs
  • Own vendor point of contact and vendor partner program responsibilities
  • Build and implement AI/ML models/agents, etc. on Azure and/or AWS
  • Problem solve and think outside the box to solve problems for our clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, business analytics, or related field
  • 7 years of experience in data analysis, data modeling, data profiling, data research, and data management
  • Extensive experience working with data in SQL, Python, and/or R
  • Experience and understanding in a wide variety of AI/ML technologies, open source models, and algorithms
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Desire to learn and contribute to new challenges
  • Experience with AI/ML on AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud
  • Experience with frontier generative models available on a myriad of cloud services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Github
  • Experience with migrating SAS code to Python/R/Spark preferred
  • Knowledge of broad-reaching technology concepts, including Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML)
