Office Nurse, LPN
Role Overview:
As an integral part of the Milford Fire Department's healthcare team, you will contribute significantly to delivering exceptional medical services to our community. Your daily efforts will be characterized by professionalism, empathy, and respect for all patients.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will assist in the daily clinical operations of outpatient medical facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing patient examination areas with necessary supplies for visits.
- Assisting healthcare providers with various clinical tasks, including patient intake, conducting point-of-care tests, administering injections, performing EKGs, and managing phone triage.
- Providing desktop support and other clinical and administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of a busy outpatient environment.
Qualifications:
Licensure:
Valid LPN License is required.
Experience:
A minimum of six months in a clinical setting with strong skills in phone triage is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in phlebotomy and administering vaccinations/injections is advantageous. New LPN graduates are encouraged to apply.
Work Schedule:
This is a part-time position, requiring 24 hours per week.
