Unit Overview:
The Fourth Floor is a specialized medical oncology unit with 15 beds, focused on providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing treatment.
Role Overview:
The Nursing Assistant is tasked with delivering patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. This role is crucial in supporting the healthcare team and ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities for patients.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Support the nursing team in various clinical tasks.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certification: Current CPR certification is required.
Experience: Candidates must possess one of the following:
- At least one year of experience as a nursing assistant,
- Completion of a nursing assistant training program,
- Current nursing assistant certification (CNA),
- Participation in the MRMC nursing assistant training program.
Compensation:
Our facility offers competitive differentials for various shifts: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends, in accordance with hospital policy.
