Job Title: Senior Data Scientist
About the Role
Fractal is a leading AI partner to Fortune 500 companies, empowering them to make informed decisions with data-driven insights. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be part of a dynamic team that leverages advanced analytics and machine learning to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement predictive models using statistical and machine learning algorithms
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions
- Design and deliver high-quality solutions and insightful analysis
- Conduct research and prototyping innovations; data and requirements gathering; solution scoping and architecture
- Work with engineering and product development teams to implement models and monitor outcomes
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in developing predictive models using statistical/ML/DL algorithms
- Expert level proficiency in Python/R and SQL (Snowflake preferred)
- Ability to create efficient solutions to complex problems; strong skills in data-structures and ML algorithms
- Experience of working on end-to-end data science pipeline: problem scoping, data gathering, EDA, modelling, insights, visualizations, monitoring and maintenance
- Problem-solving: ability to break the problem into small parts and applying relevant techniques to drive required outcomes
Good to Have
- Experience in one of the upcoming technologies like deep learning, NLP, image processing, recommender systems
- Experience of working in digital/web analytics domain, customer segmentation, customer journey analysis, A/B testing
- Good grasp on databases including RDBMS, NoSQL, MongoDB etc.
Education Qualification
Bachelor's degree with quantitative emphasis. Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Marketing Analytics, or related field. (Master's Degree desirable)
Compensation and Benefits
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $81,000 - $150,000 USD. In addition, for the current performance period, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
