LinkedIn is looking for a talented data scientist to join our team. As a data scientist at LinkedIn, you will be responsible for crafting data-driven insights to inform business decisions. Your work will have a direct impact on the growth and success of the company.
Responsibilities:
• Work with our team of analytics and data science professionals to identify business opportunities and develop algorithms and methodologies to address them.
• Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data to gain insights and make recommendations.
• Conduct in-depth and rigorous data science research to identify business opportunities and drive member value and customer success.
• Develop methodologies to enhance LinkedIn's product and platform capabilities.
• Engage with technology partners to build, prototype, and validate scalable tools and applications for converting data to insights.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, operations research, computer science, or economics.
• 3+ years of industry or relevant academia experience.
• Background in at least one programming language such as R, Python, Java, or Scala/Spark.
• Experience in applied statistics and statistical modeling in at least one statistical software package such as R or Python.
