Manatee Memorial Hospital also features a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for babies with special needs.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator to join our Perinatal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing effective educational programs for Perinatal staff, utilizing adult learning principles and multiple teaching approaches to meet diverse learning styles.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical education, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical specialty area. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required, with a Master's degree preferred. Current RN licensure in Florida and current BLS through American Heart Association are also required.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement effective educational programs for Perinatal staff
  • Utilize adult learning principles and multiple teaching approaches to meet diverse learning styles
  • Monitor participant progress and evaluate overall effectiveness of programs
  • Participate in and contribute to interdisciplinary performance improvement activities
  • Integrate evidence-based practice and nursing theory into education interventions
  • Demonstrate Service Excellence at all times
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • BSN, required; MSN, preferred
  • Current RN licensure in Florida
  • Current BLS through American Heart Association
  • Current ACLS through American Heart Association
  • Current AWHONN Intermediate EFM
  • Current AWHONN Intermediate EFM Instructor Certification
