We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Women's Health Educator to join our team at Manatee Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our Perinatal department, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing effective educational programs for our staff.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with Perinatal staff to assess and meet their educational needs, ensuring they maintain and improve their competence in their defined roles.
- Design and implement educational programs that apply adult learning principles and utilize multiple teaching approaches to meet diverse staff learning styles.
- Create or revise pertinent educational programs, coordinate implementation of course content, and monitor participant progress.
- Participate in and contribute to interdisciplinary performance improvement activities.
- Integrate evidence-based practice and nursing theory into education interventions.
- Demonstrate Service Excellence at all times.
- Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing.
- BSN, required; MSN, preferred.
- Current RN licensure in Florida.
- Current BLS through American Heart Association.
- Current ACLS through American Heart Association.
- Current AWHONN Intermediate EFM.
- Current AWHONN Intermediate EFM Instructor Certification.
- Specialty Certification: RNC-Obstetrics.
