Lead the Financial Backbone of Our Loyalty Programs

As the Director of Loyalty Program Accounting, you will be responsible for managing loyalty-related revenue, costs, and liabilities while ensuring accurate financial reporting under US GAAP. This role involves collaborating with senior leadership, external actuarial firms, and cross-functional teams to ensure proper accounting for loyalty programs and accurate forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle loyalty program accounting, including revenue recognition, forecasting, and reporting in compliance with FASB ASC Topic 606.
  • Collaborate with partners and cross-functional teams to handle revenue sharing, point liabilities, and financial reporting needs.
  • Perform technical accounting research and ensure adherence to US GAAP standards.
  • Lead audits and address inquiries from external auditors related to loyalty accounting.
  • Mentor and train team members on new procedures and processes.
  • Oversee policy memos and manage financial reporting requirements for loyalty-related disclosures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's or CPA preferred).
  • 6-8 years of public accounting experience, preferably in a "Big 4" firm, with a mix of loyalty and technical accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of FASB ASC Topic 606 and loyalty accounting.

  • Base salary range: $100,000 - $140,000.
  • Annual cash bonus, equity incentive plan for director-level and above.
