The Maintenance Operations Supervisor plays a critical role in prioritizing maintenance tasks and collaborating with various teams to meet maintenance needs efficiently. This position is integral to the success of our aviation operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Optimize fleet performance while maintaining the highest safety standards; liaise with flight crews and maintenance teams to identify and address any in-service maintenance issues. Inform senior management of any irregularities or significant occurrences; act as a representative for the maintenance planning team when required. Coordinate necessary actions to resolve maintenance discrepancies at various locations. Manage maintenance tasks assigned to external vendors, ensuring thorough oversight of all activities; maintain accurate logs of maintenance events and issues, providing daily summaries to ensure transparency and accountability. Ensure effective communication during shift transitions to maintain continuity of operations.Qualifications and Skills:
At least 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with a preference for knowledge of ATR aircraft. Previous experience in a maintenance control role is highly desirable. Must hold a valid Airframe and Power Plant FAA Certificate. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays, is essential. Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a dynamic and high-pressure environment. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels. Relevant vocational training in aircraft maintenance is preferred. Familiarity with TRAX software is a plus.
