Job Title: Supervisor of Maintenance Control

National Airlines is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor of Maintenance Control to join our team. As a key member of our Maintenance Control Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor aircraft maintenance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Participate in the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and maintain currency as outlined in the SMS Manual.
  • Oversee the overall performance of the MX Control Department and ensure that all processes and procedures are in place to provide real-time status of all aircraft.
  • Recruit, hire, and train personnel to perform technical support duties in a safe, complete, and timely manner.
  • Work with other departments to reduce reaction time, define and develop efficiencies, and build a teamwork environment.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to coordinate maintenance requirements with planning, line maintenance, heavy maintenance, materials, and other departments.
  • Host the daily maintenance meeting/conference call and develop and maintain staffing, equipment, and facility requirements necessary to perform all MX Control Department functions.
  • Monitor activities concerning out-of-service aircraft and ensure the most expeditious return to airworthy condition.
  • Review maintenance delays and system problems to determine root cause and make improvements to maintenance procedures.
  • Communicate the status of the maintenance operation to executive management and the DOM to ensure proper corporate planning.

Requirements:

  • Valid FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations Parts 91 and 121.
  • At least 3 years' experience in maintaining large airplanes with an air carrier.
  • Completed all initial and recurrent training required to ensure qualification to perform duties.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Valid, unrestricted passport with ability to travel in/out of the United States.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Background check, including fingerprinting, pre-employment drug test, and criminal history records check (CHRC).
  • Legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

Working Conditions:

  • Computer and other office equipment.
  • Work shifts may vary, schedule flexibility required.

Physical Effort:

Position requires light/medium physical work, with some lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
