Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering legal counsel on various commercial real estate issues, including transactions, leasing agreements, property management, and conflict resolution.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial real estate leases and associated documentation.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to support informed decision-making and ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborating with other departments to provide legal support and advice.
- Identifying potential legal risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Staying updated on changes in real estate law and advising the organization on potential implications.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law, particularly in commercial real estate.
- Admission to the New York state bar.
- Thorough understanding of real estate law, with an emphasis on commercial leasing.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clarify complex legal concepts.
- Strong legal writing capabilities, with experience drafting and reviewing diverse legal documents.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering relationships with clients and colleagues.

- High standards of professionalism and ethics.
