Registration Support Specialist

Job Summary:
Essential HealthCare Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to support our emergency response team as a Registration Support Specialist. This is a temporary position that requires flexibility and adaptability to work in dynamic and stressful environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth registration process of shelter residents, maintaining accurate records and systems.
- Manage the registration system, ensuring all necessary information is collected and documented.
- Collaborate with the emergency response team to provide support and assistance during emergency events.
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
- Interact with the community in a clear, compassionate, and respectful manner, adhering to diversity and unique needs.
- Utilize active listening skills to effectively communicate with residents, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrate good organizational skills, accountability, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Work effectively in a team, involving others in managing problems and conflict when necessary.
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, standing, sitting, bending, and climbing stairs, as required.
- Communicate clearly on the phone and in person, and drive in various weather conditions.
Requirements:
- Pass a level 1 background check.
- Minimum of two years' experience in social services and/or healthcare fields.
- Ability to follow procedures, acquire, evaluate, and report information accurately.
- Active listening skills, good organizational skills, and accountability.
- Ability to interact with the community in a clear, compassionate manner, respectful of diversity and unique needs.
- Ability to work well with others, involve others in managing problems and conflict, and function in a dynamic and stressful environment.
- Ability to lift/carry 20 lbs. multiple times/shifts, stand/sit for two-hour periods, bend/stoop multiple times, step up/down 18 inches, and climb two or more flights of stairs.
- Ability to speak clearly on the phone and in person, drive in daytime and at night, and work outdoors in inclement weather.
Deployment and Onboarding:
Applicants interested in supporting in Florida must be ready for deployment within 6 hours of receiving the notice to travel and arrive at the designated site within 12 hours. Each applicant will need to complete their onboarding packet.
