Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating the daily work schedule of maintenance employees, assigning jobs, and monitoring progress until completion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, with expertise in prioritizing work to minimize downtime and match the needs of production departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate the daily work schedule of maintenance employees
  • Assign jobs to employees and monitor progress until completion
  • Prioritize work to minimize downtime and match the needs of production departments
  • Analyze and troubleshoot equipment problems to facilitate timely repairs
  • Provide direct supervision, technical direction, administrative management, and leadership in maintenance
  • Manage equipment and maintenance operations
  • Support maintenance and capital projects to maximize asset reliability, uptime, and cost effectiveness
  • Provide support for facility and equipment needs, including capital and major repairs
  • Support predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance programs
  • Use reliability engineering, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting to optimize equipment and processes
  • Coach and develop training plans for hourly maintenance employees
  • Model a strong sense of ownership and accountability for the maintenance department
  • Establish spare parts requirements and maintain inventory levels
  • Participate in toolbox talks with manufacturing teams
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities related to quality
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following procedures and identifying safety risks
