Summary: The Sales Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting Sales Specialists with daily sales operations. This position involves collaborating effectively with team members and various departments, fostering strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and logistics partners, while maintaining a professional and positive work atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Functions:
    • Manage daily billing processes
    • Oversee accounts receivable monitoring and collections
    • Handle accounts payable approvals
    • Resolve outstanding issues efficiently
  • Administer freight invoices and utilize the freight management system
  • Implement necessary adjustments as required
  • Engage in daily communications with clients, suppliers, and logistics
  • Support assigned Sales Specialists as needed
  • Oversee purchase orders, transfer entries, receiving, and invoicing
  • Facilitate month-end closing activities for assigned Sales Specialists

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Preferred: Minimum one year of sales support experience or two years of customer service experience
  • Accounting or bookkeeping knowledge is advantageous
