Role Summary:
The Security Operations Manager will serve as a key security authority at our Poulsbo, WA facility, primarily focusing on the responsibilities outlined under the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). This role demands exceptional leadership capabilities to effectively manage security operations while collaborating with various departments including cybersecurity, IT, and human resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and lead critical security functions including personnel and facility clearances, training sessions, classification protocols, administrative inquiries, safeguarding measures, and management of classified visits and subcontracting.
  • Engage with government and industry regulatory bodies to facilitate thorough inspections and audits of security frameworks.
  • Ensure adherence to governmental and corporate security standards, conducting investigations into security breaches and formulating strategies to prevent future incidents.
  • Collaborate closely with various security sectors, including physical security, cyber defense, and special programs as necessary.
  • Manage the facility's Insider Threat Program, security incident responses, and workplace safety initiatives.
  • Work alongside Defense Counterintelligence and other security agency personnel, interacting with senior leadership to maintain high security standards.
  • Conduct all local site security operations and document control activities, including auditing classified storage and managing visitor access.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Criminal Justice.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a Facility Security Officer role.
  • Possession of an active U.S. government issued Secret security clearance prior to employment commencement.
  • Completion of the CDSE FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Curriculum Certificate.

  • Experience in a large, multinational organization.
